Todd Narlinger, founder and owner of Madison & Company Properties, is a highly acclaimed, award-winning Realtor in the Denver Metro Area. He began his 25 year career as a Broker Associate with RE/MAX Masters, and in 1995 was honored as RE/MAX Masters Rookie of the Year. Since 1998, Todd has sold over $25 million dollars of real estate every year. In addition, Todd has also successfully marketed and sold new development projects including: 1 Pearl Street (One Pearl), 75 Emerson Street (Abitare), 740 Sherman (ICON 740), 195 S. Pennsylvania (ICON 195), and 1107 Elizabeth Street (ICON 1107). In the summer of 2008, Todd founded his own firm, Madison & Company Properties, a boutique firm which has grown to over 160 agents and 7 Denver metro area offices. Madison is currently ranked #6 in Denver brokerages for sales volume.

Today, Todd continues to distinguish himself as Broker/Owner/Founder of Madison & Company Properties. Madison & Company Properties began with a vision for a brokerage with a collaborative, team atmosphere that provides clients with honest and knowledgeable associates and first class services. Every day, Todd works hard to maintain this top level of service among his brokers, always striving to be the best in the business. For this reason, Madison & Company Properties has earned the prestigious Denver Post Top Work Places award for the past 6 years in a row, and in the last two years Madison has won #1 mid-size companies.

Back to the Basics

After Todd Narlinger graduated from CU, he took up an apprenticeship with his dad, a top real estate broker in the Denver Metro area. The early exposure to a network of high volume producers provided Todd with a deep-seated drive for success. He was forced to learn quickly and inspired to pull his weight in a group of veterans who were succeeding at a high level. But he also recognized real estate as a gateway to entrepreneurship, which gave him something bigger to work for.

Todd now heads Madison & Company Properties, but even at the pinnacle of his real estate career, he relies on the same fundamental skills that brought him 25 years of success. Today, he passes them on to the 160 agents on his team, because in an industry littered with distractions, you need to focus on tactics and strategies that have always worked. Go back to the basics: who knows you; who likes you; who trusts you, and who are you in the flow with?

Adapt to Change

As you know, I am a big advocate of the age old strategy of picking up the phone. Today, a lot of agents don’t talk or meet until they get to the closing table. Technology has helped us because document changes can be made with ease, forms can be delivered and signed online, and communication is extremely efficient. But that doesn’t mean we can neglect our relationships and let the process become an impersonal transaction. Technology is great as a supplementary tool, but you will find the greatest success by focusing on good old fashioned relationship building.

Double Down on Relationships

The market has changed, but the value of connection has not. Todd isn’t successful because he uses every digital marketing tool available; he is successful because he puts an unrivaled amount of time and energy into generating meaningful face-to-face connections. By no means is that easy to do, but all of you have the opportunity. Skillset, mindset, and action are the pillars of success in real estate. Double down on your relationships and go prove you’re willing to work for the results you’ve been seeking!
